Pint of Science is teaming up again with One Ocean Week for an evening of science dissemination open to all on the theme of the Arctic. In the comfortable setting of the Statsraaden Bar, local researchers will tap down on their latest projects spanning various fields of natural and social sciences in the form of short, accessible presentations. By bringing together experts from diverse backgrounds, we aim to spark curiosity and meaningful conversations about the Arctic region and its significance to our global community. So grab a pint, and come discover with us the secrets of this fascinating ocean!
Pint of Science is a non-profit organisation founded in 2012 by postgraduate and postdoctoral researchers, which aims to get citizens closer to local science and research. The main festival takes place annually and simultaneously in pubs across 24 countries, 367 cities across the globe. Join us on the 13th-15th of May for your local festival in Bergen at Stereo Bar! #pint24
The event will have 4 entertaining 10 minute talks to unravel the Arctic's significance, each followed by a Q&A session. We will end the evening with a quiz, with prizes for the winners.
