The pandemic center is organizing an evening workshop on 18 September on the interaction between the media and academia in times of crisis. What do we do when the next crisis hits? Are journalists good enough to use the knowledge available at universities and colleges? And what will it take for more researchers to share what they know? Join us for an inspiring brainstorming-session!

When the pandemic hit Norway, the need for knowledge became enormous overnight - eventually about the whole society. What worked in the interaction between the media and academia?
And most importantly - what lessons can we take with us to the next crisis? Whether it's a new pandemic, a cyber attack or something completely else.
The Pandemic Center at UiB invites you to exchange experiences and brainstorm ideas in an informal setting at the Bergen Public Library.
We will start off with buffet and mingling at 17:30, and we look forward to an inspiring and fruitful discussion!
