Hilde Lien wins second place for best oral presentations in 2023

Research School in Clinical Medicine, joint initiative of University of Bergen and Haukeland University Hospital, hosted 18th Annual Research presentations 24th-26th January, 2024. The yearly event gives an opportunity to PhD students, Postdoctoral researchers and scientists affiliated to the two institutions to present posters and oral talks which they presentated at national and international conferences and meetings in the previous year.

We are proud to report that our group's PhD student Hilde Lien won second prize for the best oral presentations in 2023. Hilde's talk titled "Single-cell profiling of low-stage endometrial cancers identifies low epithelial vimentin expression as a marker of recurrent disease" presented her recent results where she identified the loss of vimentin as a robust marker for recurrence in low-stage (FIGO1) endometrial tumors.
