And the winner is.........

Hollywood may have the Oscars, but the departments of Clinical Medicine and Clinical Science have their own award ceremony. At the recent 16th annual Research school presentations two of the researchers from the Hormone research group won prizes.

Congratulations go to

Jan-Inge Bjune who was awarded first prize in the open class category for his poster "Irx3 utøver epigenetisk kontroll over fettcelledannelse" (Irx3 exerts epigenetic control over fat cell formation).

And to Martha Haugstøyl who won second prize for her oral presentation "Karakterisering av naturlige dreperceller (nk celler) i fettvevet hos personer med fedme" (Charaterization of natural killer cells (nk cells) in adipose tissue of people with obesity).
