Inauguration of the Mohn research centre for diabetes precision medicine

Professor Gunnar Mellgren from the Hormone laboratory's research group is the deputy manager of the newly opened Mohn research centre for diabetes precision medicine (PRECISE-DIA), based at the childrens and youth clinic at the Haukeland university hospital campus. With funding from the Trond Mohn foundation and collaboration with research communities in the Nordic countries, Germany, Switzerland, the UK and USA, its' aim is to provide diabetes patients with more precise diagnoses and better treatment of the disease.
