Research Projects

The members of the Media, ICT and Cultural Policy Research Group are involved with a number of research projects and networks. The projects are both locally based and international in reach, and concern diverse questions regarding the regulation of various kinds of media.

Media Diversity

The project ”Diversity in the Norwegian News Media Landscape: A Hybrid Model for Evaluating Media Policy” is financed by the Norwegian Research Council and led by media researcher Helle Sjøvaag at the Department of Information Science and Media Studies at the University of Bergen.

VERDIKT Project

A new project on databased methods for analysing polarisation and information dissemination in the blogosphere has received funding from the Norwegian Research Council's VERDIKT programme.
