The 1st Scandinavian Audience Oriented Political Communication Workshop

The Research group for media use and audience studies and the Digital Social Science Core Facility at the University of Bergen will host the first Scandinavian audience oriented political communication workshop.

The Research group for media use and audience studies and the Digital Social Science Core Facility at the University of Bergen will host the first Scandinavian audience oriented political communication workshop. This workshop brings together researchers from the Scandinavian countries working on political communication and audiences/citizens. The goal is to meet, get to know more about each other’s work, and hopefully in the future start a network of audience oriented political communication research in the Scandinavian countries.

 

We aim for around 40 minutes of presentation and 20 minutes for questions for each presenter.

David Nicolas Hopmann is a Professor WSR at the Centre for Journalism and the Department of Political Science and Public Management at the University of Southern Denmark. 

Melanie Magin is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Department of Sociology and Political Science at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology.

Adam Shehata is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Journalism, Media and Communication at the University of Gothenburg.

Erik Knudsen is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Department of Information Science and Media Studies and the Digital Social Science Core Facility at the University of Bergen
