The UiB network for games research is an interdisciplinary network at UiB for research on video games and video game play.

The network includes researchers from the Depatment of Information Science and Media Studies, the Department of Lingustics, Literary and Aesthetic Studies, the Department of Philosopy, the Department of Foreign Languages and the Department of Social Psychology. In addition, the network has included students from social anthropology, cultural studies, and sociology.

The network offers a meeting place for researchers and master students at UiB who want an academic forum for presenting and discussing their research on videogames, play, and the role of videogames in society.

The network organizes 2-3 meetings and presentations every term. See the network calendar for schedule.
