Research
Translational, clinical and molecular research in the field of neurophysiology with focus on neurodegenerative diseases.
Projects
Identify the pathological mechanisms behind PCD to develop neuroprotective therapy.
- Purkinje neuron physiology: The functional role of cerebellar degeneration-related (CDR) proteins
- Cell calcium homeostasis: CDR interactions with ion channels and subcellular organelles
- Create efficient PCD model systems: PCD characterization and drug targets identification
