Research Groups
Social Influence Processes on Adolescent Health
The SIPA group aims at developing new knowledge about how social processes influence the development of subjective health and health behaviours among adolescents.
Equity in Social Welfare and Global Development Research Group
The research group engages in social welfare and global development-related research. The research topics in the group’s project portfolio are varied, yet united by a core interest in questions of equity, social justice and empowerment.
Child welfare, equity and social inclusion
The groups research areas include child welfare service, health and welfare services from the perspectives of service users and service providers.
Research group for public mental health
Research Group devoted to study issues related to Public mental Health.
Society and Workplace Diversity Research Group
The Group is devoted to develop knowledge about challenges and implications of ethnic diversity in the society in general and in the workplaces.
Bergen Bullying Research Group
The Bergen Bullying Research Group (BBRG) is devoted to research on workplace bullying and harassment, constructive and destructive forms of leadership, stress and emotions in organisations, and whistleblowing.
Research Group for Social Cognitive Studies in Tourism
The Group studies the effect of contextual factors in understanding the basis of experiences, risk assessment and decision making, in generic sense, as well as in various applied areas such as tourism and genetic testing.
Bergen Laboratory for the Study of Decision, Intuition, Consciousness, and Emotion
The group is devoted to research how everyday decisions, judgments, reasoning and behaviour are directed by a complex interplay between conscious and unconscious processes, and are influenced by both intuition and emotions.
