Are you starting the Master's in Sustainability this fall? Here are some meetings, deadlines and social acitivities in the first week that you do not want to miss.

Monday August 12th.
Welcome meeting for new students at Master's in Sustainability (mandatory)
11.00 - 13.00 Auditorium A, Sydneshaugen skole. This meeting has mandatory attendance. You may lose your study place if you do not come. Please contact studie@svt.uib.no if you have questions.
After the meeting, lunch is served in Parkveien 9. After lunch the students from the specialisation in Marine Sustainability are invited to a session discussing the electives in the first semeseter, with coordinator Professor Katja Enberg.
Around 15.00 the student committee will give new students a guided tour around campus.
Tuesday August 13th.
HSE-course for students in the specialisation "Marine sustainability" (mandatory)
12.15 - 14.00 Auditorium, Thormøhlensgate 51 (VilVite).
The course will held in English. Bring your PC or something else for note taking
Wednesday August 14th.
Information meeting about electives for students in the specialization "Climate change and energy transition"
10.00 - 11.00, Seminar room, Parkveien 9
Deadline for signing up to courses with limited capacity at the Faculty of Mathematics and Sciences
23.59 i StudentWeb. This deadline is especially important for students in the specialisation "Marine sustainability" and "Climate change and energy transisiton" since several of the recommended electives have limited capacity.
