Kjersti Fløttum med keynote om «Climate Stories» i Brussel

Kjersti Fløttum, prosjektleder i LINGCLIM-gruppen, ble invitert til å holde keynote på «Thinker's Cycle: The Language of Debate and Communication on Climate Change» i Royal Flemish Academy of Belgium for Science and the Arts i Brussel, 21.09.2021. I sin presentasjon «Climate stories – from science and politics to citizens’ opinions» orienterte Fløttum kort om forskningsgruppen LINGCLIM og det pågående forskningsprosjektet CLIMLIFE, før hun skildret kontruskjoner av klimafortellinger i ulike kontekster. Dagens andre keynote «The media climate: public communication about climate change in news and social media» ble heldt av Mike S. Schäfer (University of Zurich), som er en del av Scientific Advisory Comittee til CLIMLIFE-prosjektet.
