Project description

This project will use a combination of ROV-based video surveys, integrative taxonomy and eDNA analysis to characterise benthic biodiversity in a small area located on a shallow seamount summit on the AMOR (Boyd seamount). Data from the different sources will be analysed and compared in order to assess the relative contribution of the different methods to the characterisation of benthic biodiversity in the study area. Results from this project will be discussed in the context of rcommendations for future monitoring approaches to be developed for the region.
