Human Rights is a thriving endeavor in the corridors of courthouses, in political arenas, and in the halls of academia. Even in academia, however, it is usually reserved for Law Schools and departments of Political Science.

Professor Thomas Pogge opened this year’s Bergen Summer Research School with a keynote lecture, where he put the fight against hunger into perspective.
14 to 16 May the research group Ancient Philosophy will arrange an international conference on Plato's Sophist through the research project Poetry and Philosophy. Please note that the conference starts at 12.30 on 14 May, not 12 as previously announced!
