UiB has signed a framework agreement with Semantix for translation, copy-editing and proofreading services.

The framework agreement shall meet our needs for professional, high-calibre translations, copy-editing and proofreading of all kinds of documents containing a wide range of different terminologies – including administrative texts, teaching materials and research reports.
Translation, copy-editing and proofreading services are booked through the person in charge of procurements at each department/unit. More information about the various services and rates is to be fond on the procurements portal.

Automated translation to Nynorsk
NyNo is a computer program that translates text from Bokmål to Nynorsk. The IT Division has bought a number of licences for further distribution to units at the university.. The program can be installed on Windows computers administered by the IT Division.
