Do you have a mission linked to utilization of research for sustainable development? Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) Northern Europe invites vice-principals, heads of innovation offices, environmental managers and others with an interest to our new workshop series – Agenda 2030: An Ocean of Opportunities for Academia.

This workshop series aim to highlight the new dimensions that Agenda 2030 offers academia in strengthening its contribution to a sustainable society.

Welcome to the first workshop, focusing on the question: How do we know that our activities for utilization of research have effects that benefit sustainable development?

The Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN)

SDSN was established in 2012 under the auspices of the former UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon.

SDSN seeks to mobilize global scientific and technological expertise to promote practical problem solving to reach the SDGs.

The secretariat of the SDSN Global is located in Paris, France, and New York, USA.

The world-renowned professor of economics, Jeffrey D. Sachs, is the director of SDSN.

The SDSN Northern Europe was launched in February 2016, in Gothenburg, Sweden, as a national and regional network to support the realization of actions to achieve the SDGs.
