NFR One-Page Proposal workshop

About the event

In collaboration with the Faculty of Social Science, the Faculty of Humanities is organizing a One-Page Proposal Workshop for researchers who are considering or planning to apply for funding from the Research Council of Norway (NFR). This workshop will provide tips on developing a strong one-page proposal to kickstart their application process. It is designed for researchers in the early stages of their application phase who need assistance in transforming their research ideas into compelling proposals.

To participate, you must have completed your one-page proposal in advance and bring it with you to the workshop.

About the calls

FRIPRO calls - Open-ended deadline
FRIPRO is an open, national competetive arena that promotes free, basic and excellent research. There are no thematic restrictions; the project ideas come from the researchers themselves. FRIPRO has three calls, each call have specific criteria regarding the project leader’s experience, project duration, and funding limits. The applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis, which means you can apply at any time. You can only be the project leader for one application at a time.

Thematic calls - Deadline 5^th March (Norwegian call only)
These calls cover several themes, and you must direct your application to one of them. Similar to FRIPRO, the thematic calls have specific criteria regarding the project leader’s experience, project duration, and funding limits. You can only be the project leader for one thematic application at a time. This restriction does not include FRIPRO applications, so you can be a project leader for one thematic call and one FRIPRO call simultaneously.
