Professor Mike Hulme, University of Cambridge, held an open guest lecture on September 6, 2019. It is now available as a podcast.
We are busy planning the Digital Narrative Network conference on 21st and 22nd November with an exhibition in the same week at the Faculty of Fine Art, Music and Design. The conference will feature a keynote from N. Katherine Hayles, other special guests, and presentations of research from multiple faculties at UiB.
The two-day seminar Digital Approaches to Transcribing and Analysing Medieval Texts, which took place in Bergen on the 29th-30th August 2019, brought together academics from seven European universities to exchange knowledge about current research in the field of Digital Philology.
Hartmut Koenitz presented his lecture: 'Representation of Complexity – Interactive Digital Narratives Enabling Discourse for the 21st Century' organised by the Digital Narrative Network at the University of Bergen on September 12th 2019.
The start-of-semester event of the DHNetwork was well attended by a wide variety of students and staff across disciplines in the humanities faculty. Seven project leaders of databases and archives gave a lightning talk and were afterwards available for more in-depth questions.
