Wake effects within the Horns Rev wind Farm

WATCH: Layout and yaw optimisation of an offshore wind farm (27.02.2023)

Wind energy has a very high potential for improvement, especially with regard to wake effects of the turbines within large wind farms. This work focuses the emphasis on potential of aerodynamically optimized wind park layouts and wake steering through yaw angle control.

Four researchers receive Marie Curie grant (16.02.2023)

The University of Bergen has been awarded four EU-funded mobility grants through Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA). One grant goes to The Faculty of Humanities, and three will go to The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences.
