Main content

A characteristic feature of our research is the close connection we have to clinical work with injuries and injury treatment. Our research ranges from topics related to acute injuries and simple injury treatment to corrective trauma surgery and advanced surgery after traumatic paresis.

Our research results have so far contributed to new understanding and changes in how we approach and follow up different types of injuries (e.g. sprained wrists, fractures in the distal radius and low-energy fractures in the same area in patients over 50).

We have also contributed with research in the field of injury epidemiology, with a particular focus on injuries caused by violence, fracture injuries and child accidents and injuries
