The project is a cooperation between researchers from different institutions in Norway, with its main seat at the University of Oslo.

Trine Syvertsen is the project leader. She is a professor at the Department of Media and Communication at the University of Oslo. She works in the field of media history, media policy, television and digital media.

Gunn Enli is pro-dean at the Department of Media and Communication at the University of Oslo. Her fields are medie policy, political communication and social media.

Ole Jacob Madsen is professor at the Department of Psychology at the University of Oslo. Madsens fields are psychosocial science, and the field where psychology, ecology and cilmate meets.

Brita Ytre-Arne is associate professor at the Department of Information Science and Media Studies at the University of Bergen. Ytre-Arnes fields are media use, citizenship, social media, digital disconnection, news consumption, gender and the public sphere.

Hallvard Moe is professor at the Department of Information Science and Media Studies at the University of Bergen. His fields are media and democracy, media use, audience studies, media policy, media history and social media.

Mehri Shekh Agai is PhD-candidate at the Department of Information Science and Media Studies at the University of Bergen. She is a psychologist and is interested in psychosocial science and media use. Agai's thesis investigates how social differences affects digital disconnection in youths.

Faltin Karlsen is professor at the Department of communciation at Kristiania University College. Karlsen studies media use, computer games and gaming culture, especially media violence, problem gaming and digital disconnetion.
