In 2021 Helen F. Leslie-Jacobsen was selected to become Young CAS fellow at the Norwegian Academy of Science and Letters in Oslo with the project Ballads Across Borders: The Faroe Islands in the Norse Story-Telling World (BARD). In the project she and her team studied three medieval Faroese ballads telling the story of Sigurðr Fáfnisbani, and in addition are putting together an edited collection contextualising the ballads in contemporary research. In this FIM meeting you can hear more about Helen's discoveries and results after the research project.
