Prof. Joachim lx (UC, San Diego) & Prof. Stein Hallan (NTNU) vist the Renal Research Group (UiB)
Prof. Ix is Professor and Division Chief in the Department of Medicine, Division of Nephrology-Hypertension (UC San Diego) & Prof. Stein Ivar Hallan (Specialist in internal medicine, kidney diseases and clinical chemistry) were both visting the Renal Research Group at University of Bergen to discuss future collaboration between the three research groups (June 10th 2024).

Ongoing project at the UiB group were presented by the PhD candidate and possible future collaborations were discussed. Prof. lx also presented ongoing work on his research group in San Diego and the collaboration with Prof. Hallan was also presented. Information about the research funding systems in USA and Norway were exchanged, and all the three groups are positive and eager to work together.
