José recently delivered a compelling 3-minute presentation titled “Nanobodies: Accelerating Progress in Protein Science and Interdisciplinary Research”. During his talk, he shared insights from his MSc thesis, conducted in collaboration with Petri Kursula’s lab and Clive Bramham.
José’s research focused on characterizing two nanobodies that bind to the Arc N-lobe. These nanobodies not only facilitated the crystallization of the Arc N-lobe but also demonstrated their potential as competitive inhibitors of endogenous ligands in vitro.
Through his presentation, José aimed to highlight the significant role of nanobodies in advancing protein science. He also emphasized their broader applications, including cell studies and immunohistochemistry, showcasing their versatility and potential impact across various research fields.
