Diversity in Education and Organization in the police sector

In collaboration with researchers at the Norwegian Police University College, we study diversity among employees in the Norwegian Police Service (NPS). Increased diversity among the employees, an inclusive working environment and equal career opportunities are among the goals of the NPS. We want to investigate how employees in the police experience their working environment and their career opportunities. We are also interested in investigating whether there are systematic differences between different groups of employees in how the working environment and career paths are experienced. In this project, we have a broad approach to diversity, and focus both on gender, sexual orientation, the importance of immigration background, etc.
