Leadership Training Program
NutriNOR's leadership training program is an annual springtime event. It is arranged in cooperation with Leaderscope from the Netherlands, and provides high-quality professional training for PhD candidates at every stage of their degree. The program consists of a combination of in-person and online meetings and is an excellent opportunity to meet other doctoral students and take part in the NutriNOR community.
Summer School
As indicated by the name, this is an annual summertime event. It usually lasts for three days and is held at the University of Bergen. It is open to all PhD students in nutrition. Through lectures, presentations, group work and discussions we explore topical subjects and learn from each other. The social program, with dinners and various activities in the evening, is also an important part of the event. In 2024 NutriNOR's summer school was held in cooperation with nutrition societies from the other Nordic countries under the name Nordic Nutrition Summer Symposium.
PhD Conference
NutriNOR's PhD Conference is held in autumn every year. The conference is arranged by PhD students from one of NutriNOR's academic partners. It usually lasts for two days and can include lectures, discussions, group work, presentations, etc. tied to an overarching nutritional or professional subject. It is open to all doctorate candidates in nutrition. In 2024 the conference will be arranged by PhD students at the University of Agder in Kristiansand.
