Hovedinnhold

Sample stockfish tapas delicacies while you reflect on the sea, and learn about how the sea inspires you and others! Be part of the sea change in Norway!

In the Norwegian Seascapes Tent during One Ocean Week 2024, we will have a variety of informative and interactive activities, including:

  • Stockfish tapas delicacies produced by local student chefs!
  • Norwegian seascapes sorting activity: How do you value the sea?
  • Video booth to record your opinion: What does the sea mean to you?
  • Enter our Norwegian seascapes photo and prose contest by 8 June!

Our research project Managing Ethical Norwegian Seascape Activities (MENSA), hosted at the University of Bergen, Centre for the Study of the Sciences and the Humanities, aims to shape more sustainable and ethical management of Norway's oceans by capturing what the sea means to Norwegians.

Share your values and opinions about the sea with us and your fellow Norwegians. Join the national conversation!
