Research interests: My academic expertise lies in the field of sexual health and behaviour research, a field with great potential for growth. One of my main focus is to establish the Norwegian Research Centre for Sexual Health (CENSE) as an internationally acclaimed research- and teaching centre and the leading knowledge provider in the field of sexual health in Norway. As the director of CENSE, I lead an interdisciplinary team. We aim to develop new knowledge relevant to policy, practice, and research, thereby contributing to reducing social inequalities in sexual health. I am at a pivotal point in the process of establishing CENSE and am making steady progress to achieving the critical mass we need to succeed with our ambitions. I hope that YFL will help me in building a more robust organisational structure, diversifying our sources of income, using available resources more efficiently and fostering interdisciplinary collaboration.
