Research posters should summarize information of a research project concisely and attractively to help generate a discussion on the theme. But how do you make a good poster?

Karin Pittman is a professor at the Department of Biological Sciences (BIO) and has been massively involved in scientific communication courses at her department. She has experience, practice, a prize or two, and lots of opinions of what makes a good science poster.
Randi Heggernes Eilertsen works as a communications officer at the MatNat faculty, and has practical experience in graphic and web design.
Together, Karin and Randi will guide you through this poster workshop.

10:00 - 11:30 The message box
11:30 - 12:00 Lunch break (bring your own)
12:00 - 12:30 Attention: decor vs design
12:30 - 14:30 Individual work and group work with guidance
14:30 - 15:00 Sharing experiences and feedback
Participants must bring their own laptop. They must also have an idea for a poster, or bring a poster from a previous conference to work on.
