Main content
All alterations to UiB's buildings must be supervised by the EIA. While building users are responsible for defining their specific needs, the EIA is responsible for identifying optimal solutions in cooperation with users. The EIA is also responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance and for engaging architects, interior designers and consultants, as well as for obtaining quotations from contractors/suppliers.
Significant purchases of furniture and equipment will be planned by the EIA in collaboration with the user(s). The EIA is responsible for procurement and for the supervision of tendering processes and contractual negotiations.
Users should clarify in advance the availability of funding for any measures that fall outside the EIA's budget.
