Dr. Robert Taylor from the University of Aberdeen has visited the Faculty of Law. He also held a guest lecture about Brexit. The title of the lecture was «'Brexit: Where does Power lie under the UK Constitution”. You can see the whole lecture here.
Senior advisor Arild Aaserød has published two books at Gyldendal publisher. Both publications are a result of his period as a gues researcher in the project during 2017.
A publication is done in honour of Ragnar Auglend on his 70th birthday. Professor Gert Johan Kjelby and professor Asbjørn Strandbakken has been guest editors of the publication.
Ignacio Herrera-Anchustegui is granted a scholarship as KoGuan Visiting Scholar in Shanghai. He will pave the way for further collaboration between Norwegian and Chinese researchers in the field of market regulation, maritime law and energy.

In the pacific ocean there are entire states in danger of being swalloved by the ocean. These small islands, marked as green and brown dots on the map, are now dissappearing. What will happen to the people who inhabit these islands, and what will happen to the maritime law?
On Friday 22 July 2011, Norway was hit by a terrorist attack that claimed the lives of 77 people. The terrorist attack was not only a national trauma. The case also made apparent that the legal system needs a better understanding of how criminal insanity and mental disorder are related.
