Stian Knappskog has become a full-time Professor at the University of Bergen.

We are happy to announce that, effective from July 1, 2019, Stian Knappskog has obtained a Faculty Position as full-time Professor at the University of Bergen. Stian (born 1977) obtained his PhD on translational research in cancer in 2007. He continued his research in this area as a postdoc and senior scientist up to 2014, including a 1 year stay at the world-known Sanger Institute, Cambridge from 2011-12. From 2015 he has been employed as a senior research fellow at the UIB with a part-time position at the department of Oncology, Haukeland University Hospital subsequent to obtaining a recruitment grant from Bergen Forskningsstiftelse and the UIB. He has been the head of the laboratory activities at Mohn Cancer Research Laboratory since it was opened in 2009.
