About UiB Service Development
UiB Service Development, in line with the University's strategy for 2023 – 2030, will contribute to the renewal of administrative services to ensure good support for the university's primary tasks.

UiB Service Development supports the new ambitions in the university's strategy for 2023-2030 and will strengthen efforts to realise these.
Our vision is to facilitate an administration that appears cohesive, regardless of whether services are provided at the institute level, faculty level, or within the central administration.
To achieve a more agile and flexible organisation capable of working faster and more efficiently, UiB Service Development will be a driver for a user-centred approach. The administration will be based on academic activities, and we will ensure that service development is based on the concrete needs of employees and students.
We will also contribute to making the administration forward-looking and innovative, with an exploratory approach to the tasks it must solve. An important task is to ensure the competence and career development of employees, with offerings of courses and forums for experience exchange and learning. Additionally, UiB Service Development will facilitate leadership development and arenas for sharing experiences across the organisation and between levels.
