Working methods
Methods and approaches we use to develop and support the administration
Main content
User perspective
UiB Service Development is based on the user perspective. Our users should be involved when a service or support is being designed. Services arise in the interaction between those who use and those who provide the services, and it is in this interaction that service development has emerged as a method or strategy to improve the interaction between service provider and user. It is important that those who support and those who receive the support are not too far apart, that we understand the needs underlying the support we are to provide, and that we are curious about how that support can best be given.
Collaboration and creativity in groups
We will also promote smart and safe frameworks for collaboration and creativity in groups, which we believe are central to success. Good procedures for starting group work (Start Smart), smart methods for idea generation and decision-making in groups, and methodological frameworks for rapid development processes (Design Thinking and Google design sprints for developing and testing new solutions).
