The University Library collaborates with teaching staff to ensure that relevant and up-to-date information about the syllabus is available. Some required reading materials are also available in our collections, either in print or digital format. Students can find study materials through the library's search systems.

Find course literature
In Lists, you can find the syllabus lists for courses at UiB. The reading list system often provides direct links to digital resources. You can also add your notes and view updates from lecturers.
You can find reading lists for the courses you are registered for under the menu item "Digital reading list" in Mitt UiB. Important information about the curriculum and study literature is also provided in lectures.
The Literature Kiosk at UiB is a portal for selling excerpts from study literature to students at UiB. Students can access the kiosk via the link in the reference list in the Digital reading list, or through the menu item "Litteraturkiosken" in Mitt UiB. The price per page is 0.89 NOK.
Several of our libraries have course collections for use in the library, but also loan copies for many of the titles. Feel free to ask at the desk if you are wondering what is available for your subjects.
Some course books and supplementary literature are also freely available as e-books if you are logged into UiB's network. Note that access to some of these may be limited.
Find Academic Literature
In the library's search database, Oria, you can find books, journals, reference works, music, films, and more available at the University of Bergen. You can use Oria to locate a specific book or article, or to discover literature on a particular topic. Access the library's electronic resources from home via VPN .
