Connecting to the UiB network off campus and/or on private devices
VPN (Virtual Private Network) establishes a secure network connection between your computer and the UiB network, and gives you the same privileges as if you were physically on campus. Using VPN, you may access your UiB home directory, the University Library’s online resources and the University's printing services. Read more about VPN and how to set it up. (Note! Split tunneling cannot be used).
Find more information about working from home or for using a private computer at the IT-departements web page, as well as information about user accounts providing employees, students and guests access to various IT systems and services.
