Borrowing and copying, charges and fees
Prices and fees for services provided by the University Library.

A system has been put in place for copying, printing and scanning for students and employees at the University of Bergen. At all the University Library's departments and other UoB locations multifunction (Pullprint machines with card readers) machines are located. Students and employees at UoB can uses these with their student/ employee cards. This arrangement is administered by the It department of the UoB. Otherwise, the following fees/charges apply for services from the UoB University Library:
| Loan of books etc. from the University Library's collection and interlibrary loans | Free |
| Expediting article copies to/from other libraries, per article | Free |
| Rush order of article copies, in addition to the ordinary copying fee | Free |
| Replacement of lost books and other material, including technical equipment, minimum fee | NOK 1000,- |
Using the University Library's machines other than the Pullprint machines for copying/printing of material from the University Library's collection:
| Black and white prints per A4 page | NOK 1,- |
| Black and white prints per A3 page | NOK 2,- |
| Colour prints per A4 page | NOK 3,- |
| Colour prints per A3 page | NOK 6,- |
| Copies/prints for employees sent by mail/fax or between departments at the UoB | NOK 1,- |
| Reference services for external institutions, firms, etc., per started half hour | NOK 500,- |
| Course fee for participants from institutions outside of UiB or Helse Bergen | NOK 2000,- |
