Organisation

Organisational bodies at the Department of Mathematics.

The Department Council is the department's elected body, with a four-year term for representatives of permanent staff and one-year term for representatives of temporary staff and students.

The Program Board and other committees are appointed by the Head of Department.

Department Council

The Department Council is an advisory body for the Head of Department in matters concerning the direction of, or are of fundamental importance to the department's activities. The council shall act as an information and liaison body between the department's management and the staff and students.

Study Program Board

The Department of Mathematics as a single Study Program board that handles the bachelor, master and integrated degrees study programs of the department.

Research Training Committee

The Research Training Committee approves Ph.D. education study plans and performs mid-way evaluation of Ph.D. projects
