Marta Eidheim: The role of social class in economic distribution policy attitudes

Marta Eidheim, PhD candidate at the Department of Comparative Politics and DIGSSCORE will present preliminary findings:

“THE ROLE OF SOCIAL CLASS IN ECONOMIC DISTRIBUTION POLICY ATTITUDES – preliminary results from the Norwegian Citizen panel” 

How is socio-economic background, both subjective and objective, related to attitudes towards redistributive policies? Utilizing new data from the Norwegian Citizen Panel, preliminary analyses will shed new light on the relationship between the economic position of voters and the economic dimension of politics.
