Changes during the leave

The parental leave agreement is only to be changed if unforeseen circumstances should occur. Examples are changes in work situation for you or your partner, your own or child’s illness, lack of childminder or other situations that you could not plan for in the parental leave meeting.
All changes must be agreed upon with UiB before you change your parental benefit with Nav. Please contact us and inform us of your request for change and we will, in cooperation with your leader, consider if the request can be approved.

What is the Serviceteam for Absence and Parental Leaves?

The Serviceteam is a centralized resource team for these areas:

sick leave
attendance allowance (child or close family)
Parental leave; with responsibility for processing the cases, including the refund from Nav.
