Career Centre

UiB FERD Career Centre for Early-Stage Researchers supports doctoral candidates, postdocs, researchers and assistant professors who are in the early stage of their careers and associated with UiB. We offer support in three core areas:

• career strategy, planning and decision making;
• academic skills development, and
• development of transversal skills relevant for both academic and industrial/commercial careers

• An easy to navigate hub of information spanning all of the local and central resources available to support early-stage researchers at UiB
• Bespoke training courses in core skills, including career strategy and planning, CV development and writing, grant writing and developing as a leader
