UiB Ferd is part of a Nordic network of career services for early-stage researchers. Sometimes UiB researchers are invited to participate in webinars organized by some of the other universities in the network. In such cases, we will include this event in our calendar and in the Ferd newsletter.
Euraxess is the European Commission's international network with themes such as researchers mobility, recruitment and tools for career development. You can get some information without registration, but we recommend creating a user account for full access to everything they offer.
UiB's International Centre is the local Euraxess Service Centre for researchers mobility. International researchers can get information and help when they come to UiB, and for researchers going abroad, they also have many useful tips and advices.
Elevel academy - Offers free webinars for new skills, but it requires that you register.
International Career Fair
The Bergen Chamber of Commerce and Industry has organized international career fairs in collaboration with Bergen Municipality and Vestland County for many years. This is an arena for connecting companies with vacancies and public institutions with jobseekers with an international background. The event is usually held in the period April - May.
