"Don’t worry about whether Ph.D. graduates will get jobs; worry about whether the jobs that need them will get Ph.D. graduates. Be concerned that we are producing so few Ph.D.-educated individuals that companies won’t have the opportunity to hire one. Be worried that if all companies suddenly decided to hire them, we wouldn’t have enough to renew our academic environments", they claim.
