In this session, we will talk about how a research stay abroad can be good for your career, give you advice on where to get funding to go abroad, and some other tips and resources for getting international experience.

International mobility significantly enhances scientific productivity and the exchange of knowledge. Frequently, gaining international research experience is touted as a fast-track route to achieving excellence, gaining exposure, and securing sustainable career opportunities. This can involve anything from spending a few weeks abroad, completing a full PhD in another country, or taking on a salaried position across borders.
