Research stay at the University of Zurich (03.05.2018)
The University of Zurich is known as one of Europe’s leading universities for conducting researching within physical geography, especially related to glaciology of High Mountain Asia. I’ve been lucky enough to live the last three months in Zurich and work together with some of the researchers here.

PhD Candidate Marianna Bettis lectured the popular course "The Anthropology of Oil" spring semester 2018. New post-doc tackles political inequality in post-communist countries (23.04.2018)
The Department of Comparative Politics' new post-doc, Trajche Panov, has been taking on several ambitious projects over the last years. For his post-doc term in Bergen, he wants to research political inequality in post-communist countries, both of which he sees as understudied.

CET contributes to United Nations SDG7 Policy Briefs (20.04.2018)
In July 2018, the High-Level Political Forum (HLPF) at the UN headquarters in New York will review global progress on Sustainable Development Goal 7 (SDG7). Over the past few months, CET has been among 50 organisations internationally that have provided inputs to this process, creating a set of policy briefs related to SDG7 and its interlinkages with other SDGs.

Lisa Maria Breisten Sølvberg and Vegard Jarness have recently published an article, "Class, body and culture". The article adresses physical activity and symbolic boundaries in the upper class. The article is based on Sølvbergs master thesis.
