Our research and teaching concerns ecological and evolutionary processes on organisms within populations, communities, and ecosystems and how these relate to human and natural factors. Our study systems cover both marine and terrestrial ecosystems, and in our investigations, we utilize field observations, field and laboratory experiments, and modeling.
